Getting there and away
Derby County FC plays at Pride Park Stadium in Derby, England. The city lies on the banks of the River Derwent in the East Midlands of the country. It is fairly easy to reach by rail and bus, and there is an airport nearby. The stadium itself is a short walk from the Derby Midland Rail Station and easily accessible by vehicle.
By Air
The nearest airport to Pride Park Stadium is East Midlands Airport (Airport code: EMA). It is about 15 miles (24km) from the center of Derby. A small airport, East Midlands is serviced by some discount airlines, which means that it is becoming increasingly cheaper to fly to Derby from London and other parts of the UK. Discount airlines like easyJet, Jet2.com, and bmi all have regular flights to East Midlands Airport. An Airline Shuttle service links the airport directly to Loughborough railway station and Derby.
If you are traveling a long distance, you will want to check out prices on flights to London or Manchester. These tend to be significantly cheaper than flights that have connections to East Midlands Airport. Once you arrive in England, you can purchase a discount flight ticket to East Midlands, or connect to Derby via rail, bus or car.
By Train
Derby Midland Station has frequent express trains to London, the North East and South West, provided by East Midlands Trains and CrossCountry. There also remain small local stations at Peartree and Spondon, although services are fairly limited. If you do plan on traveling by train in England, the BritRail pass often can save you money and time.
Pride Park Stadium is about a ten-minute walk from Derby Midland Station. Shuttle buses are available between the station and the stadium.
