Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence
Stadio Artemio Franchi Information
Team: Fiorentina
Stadium: Stadio Artemio Franchi
Address: Viale Manfredo Fanti 14, 50137 Florence
Capacity: 47,300
Directions: Stadio Artemio Franchi sits about 1.5km from the historic center of Florence, and it’s either a reasonable 20-minute walk or there are buses and trains which can get you there. On game days, regular trains run between Florence’s main train station, Santa Maria Novella, and the smaller station located next to the stadium, Campo di Marte. If you’re already in the city center, don’t bother with a train because by the time you’d walked to Santa Maria Novella you’d already be at the stadium if you’d just gone in the other direction. Instead, try bus lines 7, 17, or 20 to get to the stadium from elsewhere in the city.
Driving Directions to Stadio Artemio Franchi: From the Florence Duomo, head east on Via dell’Oriuolo behind the Duomo. Turn left onto Via Fiesolana, then right onto Via di Mezzo, and then left onto Via Giosue Carducci. You’ll turn left onto Viale Antonio Gramsci and then almost immediately turn right onto Via Iacopo Nardi. When you reach the train tracks, turn left onto Via Mannelli and then right to go over the bridge onto Via del Pratellino. After the bridge, turn right to stay on Via del Pratellino, which then curves to the left. Turn right onto Viale dei Mille, which will put you at one end of the stadium. You’ll find parking lots in the area, or you can take your chances with street parking in the neighborhoods around the stadium.
