Stadio Luigi Ferraris – Stadio Marassi

Stadio Luigi Ferraris Information

Teams: Genoa and Sampdoria
Stadium: Stadio Luigi Ferraris (also called Stadio Marassi)
Address: Via Giovanni De Pra 1, Genoa
Capacity: 40,100

Directions: Stadio Luigi Ferraris is to the northeast of the city center of Genoa, with the Brignole train station being roughly the halfway point between the city center and the stadium. It’s a reasonable walk from either central Genoa or the train station, although on game days there are special buses which connect both of the Genoa train stations (Principe and Brignole) to the stadium.

Driving Directions to Stadio Luigi Ferraris: From central Genoa, head southeast on Via 20 Settembre, which will turn into Via Luigi Cadorna and then Corso Buenos Aires. When it turns into Corso Buenos Aires, turn left onto Viale Duca D’Aosta Emanuele Filberto. This road will curve slightly to the left and then right, where it turns into Via Canevari and goes over the railroad tracks. On the other side of the tracks, continue on Via Canevari as it curves toward the right and toward the river, where it turns into Via Giacomo Moresco. You’ll stay on this road, following the river, as it turns into Via Jean Monnet, and then you’ll see the stadium parking lot and the stadium itself on your right. To reach the stadium, turn right at Piazzale Atleti Azzurri d’Italia, and then right again on Via Giovanni de Pra.
