Directions: Stadio Oreste Granillo is southwest of the Reggio Calabria city center by about 2km, and just happens to be right next to the train tracks of the city’s main train station. So if you’re just taking the train in for a match, you’ll barely have to set foot into the city itself in order to get to the stadium. And if you’re staying in the city center, it’s a pretty easy half-hour walk along the Lungomare. For non-walkers, or those staying further out, the following bus lines go to the main train station, from which you can walk the short distance to the stadium - 1, 2, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 107, 108, 109, 110, 123, 124, 127, Linea Urbana, Linea S. Antonio, and Linea A. A bus ticket for the urban area (which includes the train station & city center) is less than €1.
Driving Directions to Stadio Oreste Granillo: From the Reggio Calabria Airport, head north on the Via Ravagnese Inferiore, which becomes Via Sbarre Centrali, and then turn left onto Via Gebbione. This road curves a bit to the right and left and then right again, when it becomes Viale Calabria. You’ll eventually turn left at Via Botteghelle, and then you’ll turn right and quickly left again to stay on Via Botteghelle. This road will lead you right to the stadium.

The best hotels are located north of the city center, closer to the port and the harbor with its Lido beaches. If you want to stay north of the city, you’ll just be adding a little extra walk to your trip to the stadium - and if you’d prefer, you can always hop on a city bus instead.
