Directions: The Stadio Renato dall’Ara is located outside the historic center of Bologna, just under 3.5km from the central train station. From the station, you can catch bus #21 to the stadium.
Driving Directions to Stadio Renato dall’Ara: From the Bologna central station, head to the west on Viale Pietro Pietramellara. At Piazza 7 Novembre 1944, turn slightly left onto Viale Antonio Silvani. Then turn right on Via Aurelio Saffi, and then left onto Via del Timavo. After Via Tolmino this road turs into Via Montefiorino. At Rotonda Fulvio Bernardini, take the 2nd exit onto Via Andrea Costa. The stadium will be on your left.

Bologna is more a business and university city than it is a tourist city, so you’ll find that many of the hotels may have higher prices on weekdays than on weekends. Also note that hotels in the historic city center will make getting to the stadium easy, but parking is a royal pain in that area.

Hostels Near Stadio Renato dall’Ara
Unfortunately, the youth hostels in Bologna are located not only far from the city center, but also far from the stadium - and they aren’t very well-connected via bus lines, either. Your best bet is probably to find a B&B or guest house with cheaper rates than the business hotels in the area.
