Getting There & Away
Genoa may not be one of Italy’s main tourist cities, but it does have its own airport and has two big train stations as well, making it easy to get in and out of the city for games.

By Air
Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport (GOA), named for the famous explorer born in Genoa, is about 6km from the city center. There’s a regular bus – the Volabus, also called line 100 – that connects the airport with the two train stations in Genoa for around €3 one-way. Genoa is served by low-cost airlines Ryanair and Air One in addition to bigger international airlines like British Airways, Lufthansa and Air France.

By Train
Genoa’s main train station, called Principe, is the one that you’ll likely arrive at from cities that are farther away (like Milan), but the secondary station, called Brignole, is closest to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. You can catch a bus from Principe to Brignole easily.

By Road
From the Genoa Airport, you’ll head west on Via Enrico Albareto (also known as SP1). At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Via Enrico Albareto (this is also SP1), which will turn into Via Cornigliano. You’ll go through three roundabouts, staying on SP1 as the road follows the port and goes through central Genoa. Then, you’ll come to another roundabout where you’ll take the 3rd exit in order to get onto SS45/Viale delle Brigate Partigiane. This road will eventually take you on a bridge over the railroad tracks, after which it will become Via Canevari. Continue on Via Canevari as it curves toward the right and toward the river, where it turns into Via Giacomo Moresco. You’ll stay on this road, following the river, as it turns into Via Jean Monnet, and then you’ll see the stadium parking lot and the stadium itself on your right. To reach the stadium, turn right at Piazzale Atleti Azzurri d’Italia, and then right again on Via Giovanni de Pra.
